Up goes the tree

We had a wonderful and relaxing Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful meal and day with our dear friends. It was so nice to just relax.
Today we put up our tree and decorations. Elsa was really excited to help hang the ornaments.
Gibson was excited to take off the ornaments, and we were all happy when it was done!
Some of our good friends brought us our tree down from the mountain, and we think it's beautiful! I just love it because it's real. (Chris and I have an ongoing discussion about live vs. fake tree.) I think the picture of it doesn't do it justice. It really looks nice, especially when it's all lit up!
We're on the countdown to Christmas now! I love this time of year!

I love real trees, but it's just to hot here in Vegas for them. They don't last and we put up our decorations right after Thanksgiving, thus, we have a fake tree!

How fun, I like the new family pictures on the side, little G-Dawg is looking like a Bedard!!! Atta Boy! Good for you for the real tree, I gave in, is your tree out in the open, how are you going to keep G-Dawg from pulling it over?

Of course you know that I love both kinds of tree. One real and the rest fake. Decorating for Christmas is the most joyous thing. Gibson and Elsa are so lucky to have you guys for parents. They get to enjoy so many diverse experiences. All the better to help them reach their potential.
Love Grandma Debbie

Russ and I were hoping to go cut down a tree as well but we didn't get a permit in time. They all sold out. So we are putting up our little fake tree (the real christmas trees in lots are kind of expensive). I finally got it put together but still need to do lights and ornaments. Then the task of keepin ornaments on the tree begins :-). I also love this time of year.

Audra and Chris, I love your blog and you have two adorable kids... has time really flown this quickly? I love their names too, Elsa and Gibson. Names are really difficult for us to come up with and I love to hear the different names that we all choose for our kids. I am so happy that I can follow your blog and keep in touch with you guys! Take care and enjoy the holidays!!
