Fall Leaves

This afternoon we went outside to rake and bag the leaves. Elsa of course wanted to play in the leaves. Here are some fun shots. (Chris thinks this one is "kind of freaky because of her teeth", but I like it.)
She also was very excited about helping bag the leaves. When Chris got home she exclaimed, "We're putting the leaves in the bag!" like it was the funnest thing she had every done! I wish I could help her keep that enthusiasm for work.
Gibson supervised our work from his walker.
Elsa tried to help him figure out how to make it go forward. He was going backwards pretty well. Funny how that is...always easier to go backwards!
Then, we tried to pose both of them in the leaves. Elsa just can't keep her loving hands off her brother! Oh well, at least now she only touches him, not hurts him. :) Gibson was not as excited about laying in the leaves. He just wanted to roll over and taste them.

It was a gorgeous fall day. One of those days you wish you could have all year round.

We don't have any trees in our yard, so we don't have to worry about raking, but I do miss playing in them with the kids! Looks fun.

Very cute pictures of the kids! Our kids have loved having leaves to play in also! They are pretty good at putting them in the bag, but they aren't quite as enthusiastic as Elsa! Fun times!
