First of all, several weeks ago we had a very noteworthy trip to Yellowstone with our family. My parents and two of my sisters and their families joined us. Crystal sent me these pictures, and I'll steal some more from her blog later. She has some really good pics. Anyway, here's us at Duck Lake.
Easton and Gibson once again! They are such good posers!
Last Sunday everyone was sick except for me. When I got back from Church this is what I found... Elsa had fevers off and on. When she didn't have a fever, she had energy and wanted to play. Actually, the day she was really sick she was REALLY well behaved because it mellowed her out. Sad but true. During one of her energetic spurts on Sunday afternoon she really wanted to go for a walk. We went around the block and gathered some of the first fall leaves. Elsa wanted to make a leaf man like we read about in the book "Leaf Man" by Lois Ehlert. Here's a link to an activity sheet that you can cut to make your own, but we thought it would be fun to gather our own leaves. Here's us working on gluing our Leaf Man.
Here's Elsa's leaf man. She mostly chose where to place things. Her hands are at his feet. Can you see it??
Well, I got distracted in the middle of this post...Gibson's awake...Chris wanted some help with his lesson tomorrow...so that's all for now. I'll update more later I guess.
