Here is Elsa with her very patient aunt making cupcakes
Looking at the valley (for those of you from my current state of residence, this is why I have such a hard time thinking sage brush and drab brown are so beautiful)
Grandpa Bedard took us fishing. Elsa loved it. She had no reservations about grabbing the fish when they came out and helping pull the hook out. She also helped us get them ready to cook. I will spare the details here.

Gibson and the wild flowers
A funny note about Gibson... the Nursery class at church uses two rooms. One room is the play room, and the other room is the snack and lesson room. Gibson was walking with his class to the snack and lesson room. They told him to walk reverently with his arms folded. Now at our house being reverent is usually accompanied with closing your eyes. So Gibson decided to close his eyes while he walked reverently with his arms folded. Apparently that was not a good strategy. He walked directly into a drinking fountain that knocked him over and gave him a large red welt on his forehead. I was just happy he was reverent.

Cute pictures! Looks like a good trip (besides the rain).

That's exactly how we feel about Hermiston! Everyone thinks it's so beautiful. It can be... once or twice a year, lol. j/k, but it's got nothing on LG. I am glad, however, that if nothing else, it's at least warmer than the valley. That means more sun, and a longer growing season =D
Afton liked the "Dib" and "Elduh" pictures ;). Now whenever we sing the "We are a Happy FAmily" song, she always includes them and you and Audra. It was fun to see you!
