Welcome to our blog. We hope you enjoy it. We blog mainly as a way to keep in touch with our far away family members, but have enjoyed keeping up with friends as well. Long time...

Okay, so if you scroll back, you'll see that the last time I (Audra) posted was August 2. Chris has posted several times about various events, but I have remained silent. Well, I guess tonight I will break the silence! I give no excuses for my silence. I don't have to apologize for not posting. It's my blog, and if I don't want to post, I don't have to (one of my friends once told me that). So, let me share with you a few pictures I just finally uploaded from the camera. My lack of blogging seems to correspond with a lack of picture taking. Maybe I can get back in to the swing of things in the blog world.

Oh, an update on the house. We have a deadline from the bank to be finished with all the things we said we would for the loan by December 1.(I'm not sure that sentence made any sense, but I hope you get the idea). That basically means that we need to be done with all the remodeling by next TUESDAY!! We can make it, we only have a few little things left to do. We are looking forward to being done (for now).

When/if we take more pictures of the finished product with CURTAINS and all, we'll post a few of them, sometime.

So, amidst all of the home projects, here are a very few pictures.
Gibson at the annual Harvest Party that Chris has at his work every Halloween.

Elsa at the same shin-dig. We went trick-or-treating to only one house because Elsa said she only wanted to go to the party. I didn't argue. She also decided that she didn't want to wear a costume, she just wanted to wear her Halloween clothes from Grandma Debbie. I didn't argue on that one either. So, they both donned their Halloween clothes and we had a great time!

Elsa gets her face painted.

Gibson plays one of the throwing games. He LOVED the game that he got to throw the ping-pong ball into the buckets! Anything with balls is always a hit with him.

Gibson got a spider painted on his face to match his shirt. He held so still that even when I took the picture he only moved his eyes to look at me. He didn't even move his head!

Elsa gets some candy for a prize after one of the games.

I'm not exactly sure, but I think Gibson was trying out the fishing pond.

I don't remember what Elsa was doing here, but she wanted me to take a picture of her. So I did.

This was tonight....Elsa and Gibson were treating their "patient" Chris. He looks sick, doesn't he? I think the blue tape is supposed to be band aids.

Dr. Elsa gives her "patient" some "medicine".

Well, it wasn't much of a post, but no apologies, and no excuses from me!
I will say that we are looking forward to a nice Thanksgiving in our new home. We are having some friends over to join us for dinner. It will be nice to relax a little and then finish up some house details over the weekend.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!

Good thing you didn't make excuses because we don't believe in those in this family :) I can't believe your kids sat still for the face paint, not in this life could I convince my kids to let someone else paint their face (aren't my kids strange?) We will miss you at thanksgiving, I think I have decided that this is my favorite holiday!

So good to hear from you again. No worries about the no excuses -- I was assuming the house, the church calling, and the general keeping up with two little ones accounted for it all. Congrats on being (almost) finished with the house!

Halloween's a fun time for kids. Strange, isn't it, that we take time out to celebrate ghosts, goblins and Satani creatures!! I always wondered about that!

Hi! Yeah, your stroller sounds ideal, and you probably couldn't exactly wait around for something like that to show up at a yard sale since you need the height. I'd love to be your walking buddy! If we move to Wyoming, we'll have to work something out =) I have to say, Gibson looks like he went through a growth spurt in your blogging absence. And I'm looking forward to those house pictures! We plan on doing the same thing someday, so you guys are an inspiration. Any tips would be welcome.

Can't wait to see the pictures of the final remodel of the house. Elsa and Gibson have grown so much since we saw them last summer. Miss them lots!

I am also impressed about Gibson's restraint and self-control. Love those little personalities! Good luck finishing everything!
