Spring

wow.  That month flew by fast!  I'll have to see what I have to post about.  I know there are a great many things I COULD post about, but we'll see how far I get.
I just took a glance back at the photos.  Looks like we can start off with Easter.  We had a nice Easter.  We ate a good meal and enjoyed time together.  The kids had been sick to we took it pretty easy.  We didn't even dye eggs until Monday.  I just remember it being a really crazy week, and then sick kids before Easter.  And, sadly, because the Easter bunny didn't come on Easter morning, we had to tell the kids that he isn't real.  It was a very sad morning (mostly for me, who realized that i had gravely dissapointed my children by not having just a few eggs hidden around the house).  We seemed to recover well from that and have a good day overall.  My hint for future Easters--don't have your children watch "Hop" the day before Easter and then fail in the Easter bunny department.  It makes for a very sad 4 year-old saying, "The Easter bunny forgot to come to our house".

Today we had Stake Conference.  We had to be there early because I was leading the children in a prelude song.  So, since we missed getting a picture of the kids in thier Easter clothes, I had Chris go out and snap a few before church.  Here's the result.  Oh, and by the way, the kids sang great!

Oh, and here are some pictures of our ladybug adventures. We had so much fun in the fall with the butterflies that we got some more, that are now in cocoons, and we also decided to try out some ladybug larvae. They were fun, too. They were sneaking little things in the larvae stage and I think we lost about half of them because they somehow escaped from their habitat. These pictures are of when we released them into our raspberry patch.
