Christmas is Coming

I really do love the Christmas season.  We started it off early this year because Chris and I were getting ready to head to Orlando for his work conference.  The kids were really excited because we went shopping on Black Friday and picked up a Christmas Tree.  The discussion is over.  We are now the owners of our very own FAKE tree.  I was quite saddened by this, but much prefer to have a tree up than wait until it's warm enough to drive up on the mountain and trudge in the snow.....
Anyway, we can always go get our own tree any time, it's just that now we don't have to worry about it.  We can do it if we want, and if it works out.  Easy enough.  It was fun to have three helpers getting out the decorations, decorating the tree, and setting up the nativities.  Here are a few randomly ordered pictures of early December.
The Temple has a life-sized Nativity that we went to see.  It was windy that day.

You can see that the young helpers like to hang the ornaments down low :)
I had, for several years, been wanting a Little People Nativity for the kids to play with.  Last year I finally bought one, and I'm so glad.  The kids had a lot of fun playing with the pieces!
