Tonight we had some friends over for some Mauritian/Indian food. It was DELICIOUS!! It was so fun to cook yummy food knowing that it would be appreciated and eaten! I love to cook for Chris, but it's a lot of work for the two of us. So, now the pictures are out of order. Here is the dessert. Kulfi. Very refreshing. I learned that I like the flavor of cardamom (powdered cardamom also courtesy of Robyn).
And here is a dished up plate. Chicken Tikka Masala over basmati rice, Cucumber Raita, Braised Leafy Greens(from the recipe book Robyn brought back for me from Mauritius), and Naan. It all turned out so tasty! I'm so glad there are a few left overs. I'm only sad I didn't get a picture with our guests! They were so fun--and they loved the food too!!
Like I said, pictures are out of order. I loved this idea that I have seen on several blogs, and I had a coupon for free prints at Shutterfly, so we did these Valentines. They had the cute borders on the Shutterfly website, so it made it really easy. Elsa and Gibson have had fun handing them out, and they had fun posing for the pictures too! I think I'll want to do this every year!
This next series of pictures is a prime example of one of Gibson's favorite things to do. Line things up. This day he found a stack of Dora and Diego playing cards that has a mixture of 3 or 4 different decks, and made a really big line. It swerved all around the front room. When he was done getting them all ready we played a matching game where we each turned over two cards and left them face up, trying to find all the matches. We never finished finding all the matches. There were too many.....the fun didn't last that long. It was a lot more fun lining them all up!

I love the Valentine Cards! How very sweet. What a great idea. Love Gibson's lineup as well. Elsa you are such a thoughtful daughter. And I miss kissing Lu's cheeks.
