The Floors Continued

Here is a disclaimer, I was sanding the floors for about 10 hours. The kids were in the sanding area for only about 1 hour. No, they did not wear masks. Audra did not wear a mask. I insist on wearing a mask on any project that involves dust due to my exposure to silica through pottery and my susceptibility to sinus infections.
Here are some not so great pictures of the floors finished. You can't really see how good they look. Maybe I should have had a mask on my camera too. It seems to be a little clogged after the sanding.
We did the floors without a coach. We had several people explain the process to us. In the end we have a few areas we need to touch up. Other than that we are really pleased with them and are glad we are finished. This weeks projects include: a new roof, egress windows, trim, kitchen backsplash tiles, and railing (we have a friend or two coming for the week to help us). Next week we have the carpet guy scheduled to put in our basement and stairway carpet. We may actually look like we live in a house soon.

Thanks for the disclaimer this time :) Those floors are really beautiful, I bet they add a lot of character to your house. I promise, someday I will come to your house and see all of your accomplished work.

The back wall looks green like the color in your kitchen. Is it just the lighting or is it really green? I love the brown, it really compliments the kitchen and makes everything flow.
