It's time for those "must post" photos from Halloween. We had a busy year this year. Saturday was the community Harvest party at Chris' work. I participated in a flash mob and we did "Thriller" at that, so I went as a zombie. I actually don't think I got any pictures of myself all zombified. Oh well. Last weekend we went to the costume skate party and the floating pumpkin patch in the swimming pool. Today Elsa had her school party, then a church trunk or treat, and then trick or treating around the neighborhood. I'm tired! I know Chris is too! So, enjoy the pictures! My friend Suzanne took and edited some of these from the trunk or treat! Aren't they great! Oh, and I was actually dressed up because I went and did some songs, stories, dance in Elsa's class today..as Scarecrow Jo. And yes, I made my own costume. The other three were hand me downs!! Yay for that!
Chris usually has his big community Harvest Party on Halloween night so I just take the kids to a few houses before we hit the party. This year he was excited to take them out! The weather was AMAZING!! I think it was 50 degrees! That's strange for this time of year. It's actually forecast to snow tomorrow. The kids had a great time, and I think Lu's vocabulary has increased. Her words now include: Mom, Dad, Ball, Hi, and Trick or Treat. I'm sure I heard at least "trick" come out of her little mouth tonight. She loved it and was SO excited at each house and would smile and say "hi" over and over again. It was a fun evening. Happy Halloween everyone!!

WOW, I am tired just reading that, I am halloweened out too- you do look good in your costumes though. I love Elsa's mermaid. Lu is looking a lot like Gibson, I am glad she had fun, so did Pax.
You guys were indeed busy this past month. But what a great way to celebrate all month long. I love it. We so wish that we could have been there for all the partying! Maybe someday we will just hop a plane and arrive in time for all the Halloween adventure.
Love the costumes! What a crazy but fun time of year.
Fun times! Tell Debbie to do it!! We go to Las Vegas at Halloween time, and it's loads of fun. I won the "scariest costume" prize this year as a zombie at Kim's wards' trunker treat! Maybe I'll try a scarecrow next time!
Your kids look adorable in their costumes. You did a great job putting yourself together as well, I must say! I love the idea of the floating pumpkin patch too! It's crazy how busy things always are around Halloween! Glad you guys had a good year!! Great pics!
